SEEDS (A Seed for Success)

SEEDS is an 11-year UM legacy program that started as an NSF-Advance grant and was subsequently institutionalized, operating under the Office of the Provost through Faculty Affairs through June 30, 2020. The SEEDS core mission was to advance the careers of all faculty, by embracing and celebrating Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, and by helping to eliminate biases, such as due to gender, ethnicity, or race. SEEDS operated as a UM-wide program that covered all disciplines across all three of University of Miami campuses.
